Altana is building the network for trusted trade, and its AI-powered product network enables governments and businesses to create a more resilient and secure global economy while ensuring smooth trade flows. We are seeking a dedicated Technical Account Manager, International Government to collaborate closely with our International Government customers. In this role, you will guide them in effectively and efficiently operating Altana’s platform. As a Technical Account Manager, International Government, you will be the driving force behind user adoption, product enablement, and value realisation, ensuring overall customer success. You’ll serve as our customers’ champion, managing day-to-day relationships, conducting regular check-ins, and helping end users consistently translate product insights into operational value.
Internally, you will articulate recurring customer needs and pain points to the business, coordinate cross-functional engineering and product teams to deliver planned deliverables for your user base, and develop account strategies to strengthen ongoing partnerships. You will become a power user of Altana’s products, leveraging this knowledge to stimulate product usage growth, up-selling, and cross-selling expansions. You will own the success of our customer deployments, with a strong focus on value creation and customer outcomes.
You Will
- Manage successful customer deployments and technical work streams from end-to-end, effectively managing priorities, delivering on-time, and communicating effectively both internally and with customers.
- Become a power-user of the Atlas platform, then support Public Sector customers in rapidly achieving value, while identifying new use cases to address customer pain points.
- Own customer relationships, including conducting Quarterly Business Reviews and leveraging data-driven insights to impress clients, while promptly relaying valuable feedback to the appropriate Altana teams.
- Respond to user support queries and build scalable processes for TAM functions as our customer base grows.
- Be accountable for effectively synthesising and communicating feedback to the product team.
- Coordinate the specification of new or expanded features, involving deep collaboration with Altana’s Product & Engineering teams.
- Collaborate with our Implementation Engineering team to ensure successful delivery and work closely with our Sales Engineering team to identify and prioritise growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and capitalise on expansion opportunities, transforming them into reality.
- Balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, connecting day-to-day account management with broader commercial and product goals.
- Grow to become an expert in how governments and enterprises can leverage technology to address supply chain risk, trade enforcement and trade facilitation use cases.
About You
- You have 4-6 years of customer management, technology consulting, or general technology delivery experience, ideally some that involves working with government stakeholders.
- You are comfortable working with software engineers and data scientists as well as non-technical customer stakeholders, with previous experience translating complex data or technology concepts to new audiences.
- You can demonstrate a history of successfully expanding technical accounts year over year or leading complex software projects and programmes to successful outcomes.
- Your ability to establish positive relationships and influence others is a key asset, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills, balancing approachability with persistence.
- You're open to feedback and thrive on cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvements.
- You exhibit good judgement and a willingness to dive into the details to achieve team objectives.
- You are eligible and willing to obtain a UK Security Check (SC) clearance or have an active clearance already.
Nice to Have
- An active UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Experience working with public sector customers in the UK and overseas.
- Experience in the supply chain or logistics industry is a plus, although not required.
- Experience conducting self-directed data analysis to answer questions, ideally using SQL or similar languages.
Location
