Overview

Alstom, a global leader in integrated transport systems, is seeking a full-time Testing and Commissioning Technician to support its growing activities in Canada. This role will involve troubleshooting of Alstom products at customer sites, ensuring product availability and adherence to EHSS policies while providing technical leadership.

Your Future Role

As a PI (Product Introduction) Technician, you will work closely with various teams to troubleshoot issues, implement field modifications, perform fleet checks, and ensure compliance with Alstom and customer EHSS policies. You will also guide subcontractors, provide warranty support, and coach less experienced field operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce EHSS policies and PI processes on site.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and repair during the PI period.
  • Report deviations in the Failure Management database.
  • Implement field modifications and perform fleet check activities.
  • Provide technical leadership and coaching for improvement.
