Job Overview

The Operations Supervisor - City of Toronto works with Alpine Recruitment and Talent Attraction to oversee janitorial and building maintenance operations across multiple sites in Toronto. This role involves managing employees and subcontractors, ensuring quality, and maintaining strong client relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resource Management: Participate in hiring, training, and supervising cleaning staff and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with various requirements.
  • Client Relations: Liaise with clients to meet performance standards and proactively resolve escalations and complaints.
  • Employee Management: Manage onboarding processes, timesheet uploads via Dayforce, and ensure staff have the necessary tools and training.
  • Expense Management: Monitor scheduled versus actual hours, coordinate equipment repairs, manage supply orders, and conduct audits.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of People Management experience
  • 2 years of Commercial Janitorial Cleaning experience
  • 1-2 years of Customer Service experience
