Operations Technician / Machine Setter

For our Operations, Production Execution Team, we are looking for an Operations Technician / Machine Setter at the earliest possible date.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining all filling and packaging lines in a two-shift operation.
• Performing machine maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
• Carrying out minor repairs on machines and troubleshooting during production.
• Maintaining documentation according to GMP requirements, qualification and re-qualification documents, and manufacturing protocols.
• Responsible for the clean and functional condition of format parts.
• Operating filling and packaging lines for liquids and semi-solid forms in compliance with GMP rules.
• Loading the line with packaging materials.
• Performing and documenting in-process controls.
• Balancing of materials used.
• Performing and documenting start and end checks.
• Coordinating supply and disposal with logistics.

Qualifications

Education:

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally as a Mechanic, Electrician, Mechatronic Engineer, or a comparable qualification.

Experience:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry under GMP conditions is desirable.

Special Knowledge:

• Strong technical understanding and manual dexterity.
• Good knowledge of relevant IT applications, e.g., MS-Office, Werum Pas-X is an advantage.
