Workday HCM Implementation Lead

Alluvial Concepts is seeking a highly skilled Workday HCM Implementation Lead to oversee the implementation, support, and maintenance of our customers' Workday environments. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between functional departments and clients, ensuring the seamless integration of Workday HCM across various modules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, security, and reporting for Workday HCM and its modules (Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Compensation, Time Off and Leave, Time Tracking, Payroll, and Benefits).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive Workday adoption and enhance user experience.
  • Investigate issues, identify improvement opportunities, and gather feedback on proposed solutions.
  • Translate complex business requirements into actionable system requirements.
  • Develop and generate Workday reports to support business needs.
  • Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and manage escalations effectively.
  • Collaborate with application owners to develop and deliver comprehensive system training.
  • Ensure data integrity, test system changes, and analyze data flows for process optimization.

Required Education + Experience

  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
  • Hold a required Workday HCM Certification (Consulting).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HCM or HRIS.
  • 2 years of direct Workday experience.
  • Experience with at least two full Workday implementations.
  • General understanding of HR, benefits, compensation, and payroll processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating business requirements into system requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in remote and/or hybrid team environments.
