Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Virtual Auto Adjuster to investigate and confirm facts for advanced automobile accidents. This role involves determining coverage, liability, and damages, then adjusting and negotiating claims within a defined authority limit. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multiple priorities, and possess exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. This is a fully remote position, operating Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in either the Central or Eastern Time Zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Applies advanced understanding of company insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships.
- Handles all aspects of advanced auto claims investigations, including coverage, liability, and damages, exercising discretion and independence within an increased level of authority.
- Learns to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims, when applicable.
- Recognizes and identifies vehicle body parts and understands other potential property damage.
- Identifies and meets customer needs using appropriate customer service skills.
- Determines subrogation or fraud potential and implements appropriate handling strategies.
- Applies increased experience relevant to an Adjuster II level or equivalent specialty rotations (e.g., Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler).
