Role Overview
As a Property Adjuster Field Estimating, you will travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims across the country. You'll conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims efficiently, with a focus on water loss claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service aligned with Allstate’s Claims Culture.
- Investigate and document property damage and coverage details.
- Utilize platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
- Negotiate settlements and maintain accurate claim records.
- Travel to customer locations and handle virtual claims nationwide.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an outside adjuster.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and related estimating software.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift a 50-pound ladder and access steep roofs.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Training & Licensing
Comprehensive training is provided, including 2-weeks in Wheeling, IL. You may be required to obtain adjuster and/or appraiser licenses within 60 days of hire.
