Job Description
The Inside Auto Claims Specialist is responsible for assisting customers after single or multiple vehicle losses, managing the entire claims process from review to resolution. You will be the trusted point of contact for policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, repair facilities, and contractors. This role involves thorough investigations, liability assessments, negotiations, and settlement processes following established frameworks.
What You’ll Do
- Manage auto claims from start to finish ensuring timely resolution.
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders for updates and information gathering.
- Utilize internal tools to assess claims, determine liability and manage decisions regarding repairs and rentals.
- Conduct thorough investigations and escalate complex cases when necessary.
- Negotiate fair settlements and document all claim activities accurately.
- Review First Notice of Loss (FNOL) details to verify facts and trigger claims process.
- Coordinate follow-ups to clarify details and confirm next steps.
Schedule & Training
The role operates Monday-Friday 7AM-7PM and Saturdays 7AM-5PM. Initial training is from Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM CT – 5:45 PM CT. A permanent shift will be communicated by the end of week 4.
Required Skills
Strong communication and customer service skills, ability to manage multiple claims, sound critical thinking, and familiarity with insurance claims processes are desired.
