Role Description
As a Catastrophe Field Property Adjuster, you will inspect properties damaged by wind, hail, water, lightning, fire, and more. You will travel frequently (at least 70% travel) across the United States, sometimes performing overnight inspections. You will drive to properties, conduct detailed inspections, evaluate policies and endorsements, prepare estimates using Xactimate, and settle claims on site. In inclement weather or when travel is not possible, you will handle claims remotely via the ClaimsX Video Collaboration platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and evaluate property damage onsite
- Prepare estimates and manage claims with Xactimate
- Negotiate settlements with customers and vendors
- Document claim details accurately in company systems
- Travel extensively and handle remote claims as needed
Benefits and Work Schedule

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 70% of the time
- Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access pitched roofs
- Strong critical thinking and technical skills for damage assessment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience as an outside adjuster preferred and proficiency with Xactimate
- Must be at least 21 years old and meet licensing requirements if applicable
Additional Information
Candidates may be eligible for a $1000 Licensing Sign on Bonus. Note that this position is not available for residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, or Puerto Rico. A background investigation is required.
