About the Role
The P&C Actuarial Analyst at Allstate is an entry-level position responsible for executing projects in support of pricing insurance business. The role uses actuarial and statistical methodologies, working closely with analytics management and key business partners to drive product strategies and achieve business goals.
- Analyze business data with traditional actuarial techniques.
- Review and ensure quality of data for analysis.
- Communicate analysis results to management and non-technical users.
- Develop understanding of insurance products and regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize best practices for actuarial and statistical analysis.
- Review and validate data across multiple tools and applications.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with various teams and business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics.
- 0-2 years of experience; actuarial internship preferred.
- Pursuing an actuarial designation.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
