Job Overview: Claim Advisor Auto

Allstate Canada is expanding its Maritimes team and seeking a dedicated Claim Advisor Auto. This role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM AST, focusing on delivering exceptional service and expertise in automobile claims.

Accountabilities

  • Review insurance policies and coverages thoroughly.
  • Investigate complex automobile claims, including those involving impaired drivers, unlisted operators, or non-drivable vehicles, to determine coverage and liability.
  • Settle claims efficiently in accordance with Allstate's organizational policies and practices.
  • Collaborate extensively with customers, service suppliers (e.g., towing, repair shops), other insurance companies, and law enforcement agencies.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of high school education or equivalent.
  • An Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in handling complex automobile claims.
  • Strong knowledge in understanding and interpreting insurance policies.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills and computer literacy.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) a CIP designation.
