Job Overview: Claim Advisor Auto
Allstate Canada is expanding its Maritimes team and seeking a dedicated Claim Advisor Auto. This role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM AST, focusing on delivering exceptional service and expertise in automobile claims.
Accountabilities
- Review insurance policies and coverages thoroughly.
- Investigate complex automobile claims, including those involving impaired drivers, unlisted operators, or non-drivable vehicles, to determine coverage and liability.
- Settle claims efficiently in accordance with Allstate's organizational policies and practices.
- Collaborate extensively with customers, service suppliers (e.g., towing, repair shops), other insurance companies, and law enforcement agencies.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of high school education or equivalent.
- An Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in handling complex automobile claims.
- Strong knowledge in understanding and interpreting insurance policies.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Proficient keyboarding skills and computer literacy.
