Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex PCB layouts from schematic capture to manufacturing release.
- Collaborate with RF, digital, and analog engineers to set layout strategies.
- Apply RF and analog techniques including controlled impedance, grounding, shielding, and isolation.
- Execute high-speed routing (DDR, Ethernet, SerDes, CAN, LVDS) with impedance control and length-matching.
- Define and optimise PCB stack-ups balancing electrical, thermal, and mechanical needs.
- Generate fabrication outputs including Gerbers, ODB++, drawings, and BOMs.
- Conduct DFM and DFT checks with fabrication/assembly partners.
- Support signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.
- Perform 3D clearance and mechanical integration checks using MCAD collaboration tools.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews with expert layout feedback.
