Overview
Allied Talent Partners (ATP), a Three Cairns Group initiative, is a mission-driven, not-for-profit talent marketplace focused on sustainable development in emerging economies with an initial focus on Africa. This fixed-term contract role supports the Risk Function by reinforcing the team’s operational capacity in enterprise risk management, internal controls, integrity due diligence, and compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
Role: Interim Risk Manager reporting to the Senior Risk Manager.
This role includes:
- Supporting the implementation of risk strategy and policy
- Designing and enhancing second-level controls and risk processes
- Identifying, measuring, reporting, and monitoring risks with dashboard development
- Assisting with compliance procedures such as Integrity Due Diligence, AML-CFT, and Conflict of Interest processes
- Supporting due diligence exercises and documentation handover
- Assisting in the design and delivery of risk and compliance training
- Contributing to the development of technology capabilities including databases, automation, and analytics
Requirements
Experience in risk management, particularly within investment management, development finance, private equity, or related consulting environments is required. Interim or project-based assignment experience is preferred. Candidates with exposure to African markets or DFIs/multilaterals are a strong plus. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and familiarity with risk management software (e.g., SAP GRC, Resolver, Archer) is beneficial.
Other Skills and Working Arrangement
Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills are essential. The candidate must be a self-starter, adaptable and able to work collaboratively to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Location: Casablanca preferred with a minimum of 60% time in Casablanca if unavoidable.
Contract Duration: 6 months starting immediately.
