Medical-Adjacent and Entertainment Brand, Website, Deck, Campaign and CRM Support
Allied is looking for a temporary freelance Art Director to support a fast-moving mix of medical-adjacent brand work, website design, presentation decks, collateral, campaign creative and CRM/email design. This role is best suited to someone who can do both: think conceptually like an art director and execute hands-on like a senior designer. The work will include polished B2B healthcare and medical-adjacent materials, brand storytelling, website and digital design, investor/partner-facing presentations, one-pagers, campaign concepting and modular CRM/email creative. The right person should be comfortable translating complex information into clear, professional, client-ready creative. They should be able to work within client-approved source material, medical or technical language, brand guidelines and fast-moving feedback cycles without losing design quality or strategic clarity.
This is a temporary freelance role expected to run from June through September, with June likely the heaviest month and a steadier but lower lift from July through September. We will be prioritizing candidates who are based in Central or Eastern time zones.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and Execute Senior Design Work: Develop polished visual directions for medical-adjacent brand, platform and campaign materials. Design presentation decks, one-pagers, website pages, landing page concepts, campaign visuals and CRM/email layouts. Translate technical, healthcare, SaaS, platform and B2B content into clear visual systems. Create work that feels credible, modern, premium and easy to understand.
- Support Campaign and Concept Development: Help develop campaign look and feel, hero creative concepts and sample applications. Create visual systems that can flex across websites, decks, social/digital mockups, email and collateral. Bring strong art direction, typography, hierarchy and layout judgment to early creative exploration.
- Support Website and Digital Design: Design website pages, content modules and digital experiences in Figma or Adobe XD. Help turn complex site content into clear, scannable, audience-specific page structures. Partner with copy, strategy, account and development teams to ensure design is clear, useful and buildable.
- Support CRM / Email Creative: Develop modular email creative within approved systems and templates. Design emails that are easy to scan, performance-minded and clear in hierarchy. Support audience or market-specific variations as needed.
- Work Directly With Internal and Client Teams: Present creative work clearly and confidently when needed. Explain design rationale, respond to feedback and help move work forward. Partner with creative directors, copywriters, account leads, strategists and project teams.
What You Bring
- Strong experience as an Art Director, Senior Designer, Design Director or senior-level integrated designer.
- A portfolio showing strong work across decks, websites, digital, campaigns and collateral.
- Ability to both concept and execute.
- Strong typography, layout, visual hierarchy and presentation design skills.
- Experience designing in Figma or Adobe XD.
- Comfort working on B2B, SaaS, healthcare, medical, biotech, technical or regulated-category work. Strong preference for healthcare, medical, biotech, life sciences, SaaS or healthcare innovation experience.
- CRM/email design experience is helpful.
- Ability to work quickly, stay organized and maintain quality under tight timelines.
- Comfort working remotely with distributed teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The strongest candidate is a senior creative who can make complicated information feel clear, polished and compelling. They can move from a campaign concept to a Keynote deck to a website page to a CRM layout without needing a lot of hand-holding.
They Should Be Able To Answer Questions Like
- How do we make a medical-adjacent brand feel credible and modern?

- How do we make a deck feel polished without over-designing it?
