Quantitative Portfolio Analyst at AllianceBernstein
We are looking for a New York based Quantitative Portfolio Analyst to help manage risk, portfolio construction, and alpha for a growing portfolio team within the Emerging Markets group. The role leverages both fundamental and quantitative research to generate investable insights.
What You'll Do
The quant will:
- Leverage quantamental insights to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Introduce AI and machine learning techniques for modeling market regimes.
- Develop screening tools and signals to identify new investment opportunities.
- Utilize natural language processing to monitor EM capital markets risks.
- Analyze daily portfolio risks and opportunities for improved construction.
- Explain performance using custom attribution methodologies.
- Develop marketing slides for product commercialization.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance, data science, quantitative research, or business intelligence, with:
- 1-2+ years of experience working with datasets and big data technologies.
- Strong statistical and mathematical skills.
- An interest in finance and applying both fundamental and quantitative approaches.
- Fluency with tools such as PowerBI or Bloomberg.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
- Expertise using SQL or Snowflake databases.
