Revenue Operations Analyst
Alliance Technical Group is seeking a versatile and analytical Revenue Operations Analyst to be the backbone of their commercial organization. This role combines sales operations, Salesforce administration, reporting, data governance, commissions, and pricing support to enhance forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial execution. You will transform data into actionable insights, ensure CRM data integrity, optimize processes, and drive the adoption of new tools and systems.
Role Overview
As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you will work across reporting and analytics, sales operations, data governance, sales commissions, pricing support, and Salesforce administration. Your key contributions will include providing clear, actionable insights to sales leadership, maintaining trustworthy CRM and master data, and driving the adoption of new systems and processes. Collaboration with Sales, Finance, Business Intelligence, IDS (IT), and Operations will be crucial for strengthening forecasting accuracy, pipeline discipline, commission integrity, and pricing rigor. Success in this fast-paced, private-equity backed environment hinges on strong analytical and synthesis skills, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to establish structure within evolving processes.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Build and maintain sales reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the commercial team.
- Refresh monthly pipeline-to-goal analysis and lead annual account analysis.
- Synthesize revenue, bookings, and pipeline data into actionable recommendations.
- Support forecasting and predictive analytics, including pipeline coverage and funnel velocity.
Sales Operations & Process
- Own net-new account creation and act as gatekeeper for a clean account base.
- Manage account assignments, tiering, and re-tiering.
- Maintain the Sales Playbook and related sales enablement pages.
- Support sales and marketing campaigns through list pulls and tracking.
- Assist with administration of monthly/quarterly commission processes.
Data Stewardship & Master Data Governance
- Enforce CRM hygiene standards for stage progression, close-date integrity, etc.
- Maintain master data in Salesforce and ensure alignment across systems.
- Process new client approvals, client requests, and lead conversions.
- Perform account deduplication and reassignment.
- Execute acquisition data ETL, cleansing, and mass loads.
Pricing Support
- Support strategic pricing programs through KPI analysis and governance.
- Optimize price models and track year-over-year price increases.
- Assist with annual renewals by refreshing rate sheets and price models.
- Contribute to value-based pricing initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Gather and document business requirements for Salesforce and process enhancements.
- Champion adoption of new systems and processes through training materials and job aids.
- Deliver Salesforce training for new users and new functionality.
- Provide technical support to Salesforce users and troubleshoot issues.
- Partner cross-functionally with BI, IT/IDS, Operations, and Finance.
Skills & Experience
- 3–6+ years in revenue or sales operations, business analysis, or comparable role.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce experience; Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
- Advanced data-analysis skills in Excel and BI/reporting tools (Tableau a plus).
- Experience with master data management, CRM data governance, and data migration/integration preferred.
- Familiarity with sales compensation/commission processes and pricing analytics a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
