With our headquarters in Germany and an international office in Dubai, we operate modern, complex and high-availability IT infrastructures. To strengthen our data center teams at our German headquarters, we are looking for Data Center Technicians to support daily operations in our data centers in Dresden. German language skills are welcome, but not mandatory. What matters most is your technical mindset and reliability. A relocation to Dresden (Germany) is required.
Your Responsibilities as a Data Center Technician
- Monitor server and network infrastructure and respond to incidents
- Analyze and resolve system, network, or hardware-related issues
- Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and replacements
- Support customers via ticket system, email, and phone
- Maintain and optimize server operations
- Document incidents, work processes, and changes
- Work in rotating shifts including night, weekend, and holiday availability
Your Profile
We are seeking candidates with a completed IT training (e.g., IT Specialist, System Technician, Administrator) or comparable experience. You should possess basic to solid knowledge of Linux and networking, along with first experience with server systems and hosting environments. Experience with PHP and MySQL is an advantage. A customer-focused mindset, reliable work attitude, and high awareness of data protection and IT security are crucial. You must be willing to work shifts, including night and weekend schedules, and be fluent in English. German is a plus but not required. Experience with system networks is sufficient; data center experience is beneficial but not a must.
