Automotive Service Technician

Experienced Automotive Service Technician needed at All American Chevrolet Cadillac in Muncie, IN.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Perform regular inspections to detect faults and potential problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional repairs and estimates.
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient project completion.
  • Participate in training sessions to learn new technologies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
  • B level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent customer service, computer competency, and team collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
