Role Overview - Staff AI GTM Engineer

Join the Revenue Operations team as a hands-on builder who will design, build, and scale intelligent systems to accelerate revenue growth. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to identify bottlenecks, automate workflows, and deliver AI-powered copilots that enhance team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Map and analyze revenue processes to identify friction points and automation opportunities.
• Design and deploy AI-driven tools such as Slack copilots and SDR research assistants.
• Integrate data from CRM, marketing systems, and enrichment providers to deliver insights.
• Build scalable workflows using orchestration tools and various APIs.
• Measure impact with clear KPIs including pipeline lift and sales cycle reduction.
• Document processes and create playbooks, dashboards, and runbooks.

Example Use Cases

• Automate RFP responses to reduce manual effort.
• Build an AI Sales Coach for real-time guidance.
• Enhance SDR capabilities with AI-driven research and personalization.
• Utilize intent signals for targeted marketing events.
• Create automated Discovery Playbooks for sales reps.

What We’re Looking For

• A builder’s mindset for rapid experimentation and iteration.
• Experience with building and deploying bots, copilots, and automation solutions.
• Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript with workflow orchestration and API integration experience.
• Knowledge of AI coding agents and MCP-style tool frameworks.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
• Ability to balance innovation with compliance and data governance.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with enrichment APIs such as Clay, Apollo, and Clearbit.
• Prior work in RevOps, Sales, or GTM tech stacks.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000. Alkami offers a remote-first environment, unlimited paid time off, a 401(k) with employer match, and other competitive benefits.
