As a Team Lead, DevOps at Alithya, you will leverage your extensive expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure. This pivotal role involves leading the design, deployment, and optimization of Azure-based solutions, blending hands-on engineering with effective team leadership. You will guide a high-performing DevOps team, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient systems. Operating in a dynamic environment that champions innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, you will drive excellence across enterprise DevOps practices.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure deployments in cloud environments, adhering to industry-standard DevOps practices and toolchains.
• Manage and deploy Microsoft Azure resources utilizing Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Bicep scripts.
• Utilize configuration management and version control tools, including GitHub, and manage release pipelines with tools such as VSTS, Artifactory, GitLab, and Maven.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to support end-to-end deployments across development, QA, and production environments.
• Leverage PowerShell for automating infrastructure and operational tasks.
• Deploy and support Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, and PaaS services.
• Implement infrastructure security controls and apply hardening standards to meet compliance and security requirements.
• Follow enterprise change management processes, utilizing tools such as ServiceNow for managing change requests.
• Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to implement best practices for software build, release, and delivery workflows.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster growth, strengthen capabilities, and enhance overall team performance.

Keys to Your Success

• A degree in computer science or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution, coupled with strong academic performance.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience deploying Azure services using code, including virtual machines, networking components, and PaaS resources.
• Experience working within enterprise change management frameworks.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Bicep, and GitHub.
• Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring teams while delivering complex technology projects.
• Ability to review, provide feedback, and guide Azure infrastructure design.
• Strong ability to work independently while consistently producing high-quality results.
