About the Vulnerability Management Analyst Role
As a Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in vulnerabilities, exposure management, and remediation within real-world environments. You will work with practical data and scenarios that mirror how security teams identify, prioritize, and resolve risks across modern systems.
This is a contract / task-based position offering competitive compensation and flexible remote work. We are looking for a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications.
- Classify severity, impact, exploitability, and develop remediation strategies.
- Review patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios.
- Help generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to evaluate and improve AI systems.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security.
- Familiarity with CVEs, security scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks.
- An understanding of the tradeoffs between theoretical risk and practical matters in production environments.
- A clear, structured, and analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
