About The Role

Alignerr partners with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. This role offers a rare opportunity for threat intelligence professionals to apply their expertise in a new and impactful way. You will work with realistic threat reports, indicators, and attack narratives to help AI systems learn how threats are actually tracked, analyzed, and communicated in practice.

This is a fully remote, task-based position, allowing you to work on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior.
  • Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and benchmark AI systems.
  • Review AI-generated threat intelligence outputs and flag errors, inconsistencies, or fabricated data.
  • Apply your practitioner knowledge to help AI reason like a real analyst.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or a related security role.
  • Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, or CTI workflows and tooling.
  • Able to distinguish genuine attacker behavior from noise, speculation, or fabricated indicators.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with clear, structured written communication.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience producing or consuming finished intelligence reports.
  • Familiarity with threat actor tracking, campaign attribution, or malware analysis.
  • Background in red teaming, incident response, or vulnerability research.
  • Prior experience contributing to AI or data labeling projects.
