About The Job
At Alignerr, we partner with the world’s leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We’re building and evaluating advanced AI systems that reason through security incidents, alerts, and investigations in order to better mirror real-world response environments. You will work with realistic SOC scenarios to ensure AI outputs reflect how analysts actually detect, triage, and respond to threats.
Organization: AlignerrPosition: Security Operations AnalystType: Contract / Task-BasedCompensation: $30–$60 /hourLocation: RemoteCommitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do
- Analyze incident and alert scenarios to understand what is happening and why it matters
- Classify severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
- Review detection logic and investigation workflows
- Help validate AI outputs so they align with how security analysts work in practice
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows
- Ability to distinguish true security signals from background noise and false positives
