What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated mathematical solutions for correctness, completeness, and logical rigour
- Identify errors in proofs, calculations, and multi-step reasoning
- Evaluate the clarity and quality of mathematical explanations
- Solve challenging problems spanning algebra, number theory, combinatorics, analysis, probability, and more
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI models reason more accurately
- Craft and refine problems that push the boundaries of AI mathematical capability
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a quantitative field
- Strong problem-solving instincts and deep mathematical intuition
- Comfortable working across multiple areas of mathematics
- Precise written communicator — able to explain complex ideas with clarity
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to rigour and accuracy
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Competition mathematics background — UKMT, BMO, IMO, Putnam, Tripos, or similar
- Graduate-level coursework in mathematics or a related field
