Java Coding Expert (Contract)
Labelbox is seeking a Coding Expert in Java for a contract engagement. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates within the United States. You will be instrumental in shaping the data that powers frontier AI.

What You Will Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated Java code for correctness, efficiency, and clarity.
- Write high-quality Java solutions to coding problems across varying difficulty levels.
- Create clear, human-readable explanations for code logic and problem-solving strategies.
You Are a Great Fit If
- Fluent in English, with strong written communication skills and the ability to clearly explain abstract coding concepts.
- Expertise in Java: Deep familiarity with core Java concepts such as OOP, multithreading, exception handling, and standard libraries.
- 3-5 years of experience with Java frameworks, tools, or domains (e.g., Spring, Android, backend development) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or a related field. Master’s or PhD preferred, but not required.
- Bonus: Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training projects.
