About the role

Frontend TypeScript Developer (AI Training)

What if your TypeScript expertise could directly shape how AI writes code for millions of developers around the world? We're looking for experienced TypeScript developers to review, evaluate, and guide AI-generated frontend code — ensuring it meets the standards of type safety, scalability, and modern architecture that real-world applications demand.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior developers who know TypeScript inside and out. You'll work alongside leading AI research teams, using your technical judgment to make AI smarter, more accurate, and genuinely useful for the developer community.

About The Role

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Develop complex, type-safe frontend components that deepen AI understanding of modern web architectures
  • Provide clear, detailed technical commentary on architectural decisions and type-driven development strategies
  • Identify and flag weaknesses in AI responses related to complex type definitions, asynchronous patterns, and frontend edge cases
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Deep expertise in TypeScript — you're fluent in static typing, generics, interfaces, and utility types
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with modern frontend or full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js
  • Strong written communicator who can explain technical decisions clearly and concisely
  • Detail-oriented and methodical — you notice when something is subtly wrong and you know why
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI-assisted development workflows
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and type-safe API design patterns
  • Exposure to monorepos, design systems, or large-scale frontend architectures

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside the world's leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
