About the Role: Coding Expert - C++ at Labelbox
Join Labelbox as a remote Coding Expert - C++ and shape the data that powers frontier AI. This is an hourly, at-will contractor engagement, fully remote and asynchronous, requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week. Pay ranges from $25 – $100 per hour (US) with rolling start dates as projects launch.
What You'll Do
- Review and assess AI-generated C++ code for accuracy, style, and efficiency.
- Write robust C++ solutions across domains including algorithms, systems programming, and game development.
- Create clear, human-readable summaries of your solutions and evaluation decisions.
- Flag edge cases and provide constructive feedback on ambiguous code scenarios.
You're a Great Fit If
- Fluent in English with excellent technical writing skills.
- Expertise in C++: Knowledge of modern C++ (C++11 and above), STL, OOP, memory management, and templates.
- 3-5 years of experience in C++ domains such as systems programming, finance, or game engines is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or a related field. Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Bonus: Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training projects.

- Domain-specific Zara interview to assess your C++ expertise, including performance optimization (such as memory management and compiler optimizations), software design and architecture, and advanced C++ features like templates, concurrency, and metaprogramming.
