This Cloud Security Analyst position at Alignerr is a contract/task-based role offering competitive compensation of $38–$60 per hour, with a flexible commitment of 10–40 hours per week. This is a fully remote opportunity.
What You’ll Do as a Cloud Security Analyst
- Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and prevalent failure patterns.
- Review critical IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues.
- Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on their real-world business impact.
- Validate and enhance AI-generated security reasoning to accurately reflect how cloud incidents truly unfold.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud environments in production.
- Familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
- Proven experience with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.
- Ability to clearly reason about blast radius, risk exposure, and overall business impact.
