We are actively seeking practitioners who possess a deep understanding of how cloud environments can fail in real-world scenarios.
This position is for a Cloud Security Analyst, offered on a contract/task-based basis with compensation ranging from $38–$60 per hour. It is a remote role with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.
What You’ll Do as a Cloud Security Analyst
- Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify potential risks and common failure patterns.
- Review and assess security issues related to IAM (Identity and Access Management), networking, storage, and containerization.
- Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on their actual real-world impact.
- Validate and continuously improve AI-generated security reasoning to ensure it accurately reflects how cloud incidents genuinely unfold.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in a production setting.
- Strong familiarity with key cloud security concepts, including IAM, networking, storage, and container security.
- Proven experience dealing with real-world misconfigurations and managing security incidents.
- Ability to clearly reason about blast radius, risk exposure, and overall business impact in cloud environments.
