We’re working on datasets and evaluations focused on cloud security and modern infrastructure, and we’re looking for practitioners who truly understand how cloud environments fail in the real world.
Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst for a contract/task-based position, offering competitive compensation and flexible remote work. This role involves a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns
- Review IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues
- Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact
- Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud environments in production
- Familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts
- Experience with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents
- Ability to reason clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact
