Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training)

About Alignerr

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks, misconfigurations, and failure patterns.
- Review and evaluate IAM policies, networking configurations, storage access controls, and container security issues.
- Classify security gaps and real-world cloud failures based on their business impact and blast radius.
- Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning to ensure it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold.
- Provide structured, expert feedback that directly shapes how AI understands cloud security.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production.
- Strong familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
- Experience identifying and reasoning through real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.
- Able to think clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact.
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cloud security engineering, DevSecOps, or penetration testing.
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, CSPM tools, etc.).
- Background in incident response or cloud threat modeling.
- Security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, etc.).
