This remote contract position for a Chemistry Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Specialist is ideal for individuals with a Master’s (pursuing or completed) in Chemistry or related fields. You will work on cutting-edge projects with top AI labs, earning up to $35-$55/hour with flexible weekly hours (10-40 hours). No prior AI experience is required.
Your primary role will involve fine-tuning large language models (like ChatGPT) by leveraging your chemistry knowledge. This includes designing advanced chemistry problems, evaluating AI solutions, and collaborating with researchers to establish robust benchmarks.
What You’ll Do
- Design advanced chemistry problems (e.g., chemical engineering, biochemistry) to rigorously test AI performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions demonstrating rigorous logical reasoning.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, quality of reasoning, and overall effectiveness.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level chemistry topics.
Requirements
- Masters (pursuing or completed) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strong chemistry reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced domains.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured, actionable feedback.
- No prior AI experience is required, making this an excellent entry point into the AI industry for chemistry experts.
