About the Business Analyst Role at Alignerr
At Alignerr, we partner with the world’s leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We are seeking talented Business Analysts to manage and mentor a team focused on creating business-focused content to improve these AI models. This role combines leadership, quality oversight, and subject expertise in MBA-relevant domains to ensure outputs are accurate, logically sound, and aligned with project goals. It is ideal for someone who enjoys people management, operational excellence, and shaping high-quality analytical content. No prior AI experience is required for this role.
Alignerr offers this position as an Hourly Contract, with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week and competitive compensation ranging from $40–$80 per hour. This is a fully remote opportunity.
What You'll Do as a Business Analyst
- Collaborate with and mentor a team of Business Analysts/Content Specialists.
- Allocate tasks, oversee workflows, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of content.
- Conduct QA reviews, refine processes, and improve team efficiency.
- Provide performance feedback, training, and career development to team members.
- Act as the primary stakeholder contact, sharing regular project updates and insights.
- Guide the creation of case studies, scenarios, and structured business content across various domains such as finance, policy, and e-commerce.
Requirements for the Business Analyst Position
- Bachelor's degree or undergraduate in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Candidates with equivalent experience in the area without a Bachelor's degree are also encouraged to apply.
- 2+ years of team management experience.
- 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, content creation, or domain-focused projects.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Feedback Skills: Proven ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
- Creative Thinking: Strong creative and lateral thinking abilities.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- No prior AI experience is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or undergraduate in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems.
- Bonus: Experience in case study writing, or academic/research content.
