As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and mentoring a team responsible for creating business-focused content to enhance these AI models. This position combines leadership, quality oversight, and deep subject matter expertise across MBA-relevant domains to ensure all outputs are accurate, logically sound, and perfectly aligned with project objectives. This is an hourly contract position offering competitive compensation and flexible remote work, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week.
What You'll Do as a Business Analyst
- Collaborate with and mentor a dedicated team of Business Analysts and Content Specialists, fostering a high-performance environment.
- Strategically allocate tasks, oversee detailed workflows, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Conduct thorough QA reviews, continuously refine processes, and drive improvements in team efficiency and productivity.
- Provide impactful performance feedback, comprehensive training, and support career development initiatives for team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring regular and transparent project updates are communicated.
- Guide the creation of compelling case studies, realistic scenarios, and structured business content spanning finance, policy, e-commerce, and other critical domains.
Requirements for a Business Analyst
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent undergraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a closely related analytical field. Candidates without a degree but with relevant experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven team management experience, demonstrating your leadership capabilities.
- 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, content creation, or domain-focused projects.
- Strong research and analytical skills to effectively dissect complex information and draw insightful conclusions.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations, crucial for team growth and quality assurance.
- Creative and lateral thinking abilities to approach problems from various angles and innovate solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- No prior AI experience is required, emphasizing our focus on core business and analytical competencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems.
- Bonus points for experience in case study writing, or academic/research content development.
