About the Application Security Analyst Role at Alignerr

You will work with realistic application security scenarios to help AI systems learn how to assess, prioritize, and remediate risk.
Organization Details
- Position: Application Security Analyst
- Type: Contract / Task-Based
- Compensation: $38–$60 /hour
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do as an Application Security Analyst
- Review and analyze application security scenarios across code, APIs, and system behavior
- Classify vulnerabilities such as authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues
- Evaluate secure coding practices and remediation strategies
- Help create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI how to assess application risks accurately
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in application, product, or software security roles
- Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities
- Ability to distinguish real exploitability from theoretical risk
- Clear written communication and structured security reasoning
