About the role
AI Security Analyst (AI Training)
What if your security expertise could directly shape how the world's most advanced AI systems defend themselves against attack? We're looking for AI Security Analysts to probe, stress-test, and evaluate frontier AI models — uncovering vulnerabilities before bad actors do and helping ensure these systems remain safe, reliable, and aligned with real-world security standards.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for security professionals who are curious about how AI systems are built, deployed, and exploited. If you think in threat models and get a quiet thrill from finding what breaks, this role was made for you.
About The Role
- Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand how models behave under adversarial, edge-case, and unexpected conditions
- Investigate prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, jailbreaking, and system misuse cases in realistic environments
- Classify security issues by real-world impact and likelihood, and recommend appropriate mitigations
- Evaluate and improve AI system behavior so it remains safe, robust, and aligned with security best practices
- Work directly with scenarios drawn from frontier model development — the kind of problems that matter at the cutting edge of AI
- Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Solid background in cybersecurity, information security, or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of modern security threat modeling — and a genuine interest in how it applies to AI systems
- Familiar with concepts like prompt injection, adversarial inputs, access control failures, and data exposure risks
- Curious, analytical, and precise — you dig into complex systems methodically and don't stop at surface-level findings
- Clear and structured written communicator who can document issues with actionable detail
- Comfortable working independently on ambiguous, open-ended security challenges
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI APIs, or AI-powered applications
- Background in red teaming, penetration testing, or adversarial research
- Familiarity with AI safety, alignment, or responsible AI concepts
- Experience in application security, cloud security, or API security
- Prior exposure to security evaluation frameworks or risk classification methodologies
