Senior Evangelist - GenAI Safety/Security

Alice (Formerly ActiveFence) is seeking a dynamic Senior Evangelist to spearhead our go-to-market strategy in Generative AI Safety and Security. This pivotal role blends thought leadership, direct engagement with industry leaders, and a significant impact on revenue generation. You will be the primary representative of Alice, interacting with executives, researchers, and practitioners within leading AI labs and the broader AI safety community.

This position demands both strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will be actively involved in customer interactions, hosting events, supporting sales efforts, and channeling critical field insights back to our marketing, product, and leadership teams. While not a direct sales role, your primary objective will be to generate interest and establish Alice's solutions within this key market segment.

What You'll Do:

  • Support GTM & Sales Enablement: Partner with sales teams to refine the GenAI Safety & Security go-to-market strategy. Generate high-level executive meetings that lead to qualified opportunities. Utilize in-depth knowledge of target personas, customer challenges, industry trends, and Alice's offerings to support programmatic outreach.
  • Thought Leadership & Industry Presence: Represent Alice at prominent industry conferences and exclusive forums. Submit and deliver talks, participate in fireside chats, and moderate panel discussions. Cultivate Alice's reputation as a leading authority in Responsible AI.
  • Executive Engagement & Events: Organize and host executive dinners and intimate, high-impact events. Lead discussions with senior technical and business executives. Personally invite and engage key executive stakeholders.
  • Outbound Executive Outreach: Engage with executives through tailored thought leadership, custom reports, and event invitations via email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels. Foster enduring relationships with influential stakeholders in frontier AI labs, enterprises, and regulatory bodies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to shape messaging, campaigns, and content. Partner with product teams to integrate field insights and influence product roadmap development. Work with our Intelligence & Research team to identify key areas for report generation to support executive outreach efforts.

How Success Is Measured:

  • Number of executive meetings generated.
  • Sales opportunities influenced and created.
  • Pipeline impact and overall GTM effectiveness in the AI safety and security sector.
  • Strength and growth of strategic relationships cultivated across the AI ecosystem.

Requirements:

Who You Are:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in security, AI, trust & safety, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with AI safety, AI security, and the risks associated with frontier AI.
  • A strong existing network among AI safety practitioners, frontier AI labs, and security leaders.
  • Comfort operating and communicating effectively at the executive level.
  • Adept at functioning within a commercial, customer-facing, and revenue-driven environment.
  • Proficient in both strategic planning and analysis, as well as hands-on execution.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (up to 25% of the time, approximately 4-6 days per month).

Bonus Points:

  • A background in AI research or applied Machine Learning research.
  • Previous experience working directly with frontier AI labs or advanced AI teams.
