Job Description
About Alice & Bob
Alice & Bob is at the forefront of the quantum race, developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer using a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. These cat qubits offer the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously, setting us apart from competitors like Google and IBM. After securing €100 million in funding in 2025, we are rapidly expanding our team of physicists, PhD students, engineers, and experienced business professionals, all united by the ambitious goal of reshaping the future of computing. If you are a quantum pioneer, join our mission!
Our Prototyping Cleanroom
Alice & Bob is significantly scaling its capabilities by building its own prototyping cleanroom in Ile de France, with operations beginning in early 2026. This state-of-the-art facility will drastically reduce chip fabrication lead times, speed up design iteration cycles, and enhance our nanofabrication processes.
The Role: Electrical Test and Packaging Team Leader
As the Electrical Test and Packaging Team Leader within the Quantum Hardware department, you will lead the critical 'backend of line' operations for manufacturing Alice & Bob Quantum Processors. This encompasses room temperature electrical testing, dicing, and wirebonding of chips inside sample holders. Your leadership will be pivotal in bringing QPU designs to reality, directly contributing to our culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Organize, plan, and oversee daily operations, ensuring user requests are documented and complete, and elaborating operational planning with your team.
- Process Development & Improvement: Plan and organize R&D tests to improve processes and recipes, staying abreast of technological advancements. Drive improvement actions (e.g., A3) and ensure close collaboration and alignment with company strategy.
