The Mission

Lead and grow a portfolio of products that form the foundation of Algolia’s next generation of data and ecosystem platforms. This includes:

  • Data & Connector Platform: Unlock the potential of product/catalog data through data loading, transformation, and enrichment.
  • Composition: Enable tailored and orchestrated search experiences via flexible API and UI.
  • Ecosystem Experience: Integrate with external platforms like SFCC, Shopify, and BigCommerce.
  • Algolia Assist: Leverage AI assistant for enhanced user experience.

The Opportunity

This senior product leadership role is central to unifying data ingest, transformation, enrichment, retrieval, orchestration, and user control. Manage three experienced PMs and ensure alignment across the product portfolio to drive customer adoption and performance.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead & Manage PMs: Hire, coach, and grow product managers.
  • Define Portfolio Strategy: Own vision, KPIs, and roadmaps for key areas.
  • Deliver Outcomes: Focus on measurable improvements in customer metrics.
  • Ecosystem & Partnerships: Collaborate with GTM, PS, and partner teams.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Maintain clear product rituals and communication.

Role Requirements

  • People Leadership: 2+ years managing PMs and developing talent.
  • Portfolio Ownership: Experience running multiple product lines with dependencies.
  • Developer-First Experience: Skilled in APIs/platforms and business-user workflows.
  • Data & Connectors Depth: Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data quality.
  • Domain Experience: Background in eCommerce, content-heavy, or media use cases.
  • Strategic Communicator: Ability to simplify complexity and align stakeholders.
