About Bayside Health and MASC Trials
Bayside Health is a public health service delivering high-quality care for nearly 1.2 million people across metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding regions. It comprises more than 15 main sites providing comprehensive care from newborns to older adults. MASC Trials, a collaborative trials group affiliated with Monash University, specialises in investigator-initiated melanoma and skin cancer research across Australia and New Zealand.
The Role
As an Administrative Assistant at Administrative Assistant, you will provide executive administrative support to the Head of Operations at MASC Trials. Your role involves ensuring effective collaboration, exercising discretion, and maintaining confidentiality while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Broad knowledge of senior management operations in complex organisations
- Secretarial/administrative experience in Government, University or Health sectors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience in higher education or multi-faceted organisations
- Experience in maintaining websites, newsletters and content generation
- Understanding of medical terminology, especially in oncology and melanoma treatments
