Position Summary
Under the direction of the Medical Lead Neurologie, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Neuro Sud Ouest serves as a key scientific resource in the field and supports Alexion's leadership in biotechnologie. This non-promotional role involves developing and executing a regional medical plan, delivering validated scientific information, and engaging with healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an annual regional medical plan aligned with Alexion’s scientific leadership.
- Identify medical experts, analyze regional healthcare environments and strategize actionable plans.
- Provide up-to-date, non-promotional scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate with clinical research departments in study support and investigator-led research projects.
- Collect and analyze regional medical insights and share findings through CRM and reports.
Collaboration and Internal Coordination
Work closely with Medical Advisors, Medical Affairs Managers, and Pharmacovigilance teams. Participate in team seminars with sales teams while strictly respecting the non-promotional boundaries of the role.
Leadership and Continuous Learning
Maintain scientific knowledge via literature reviews, internal training sessions, and actively engage in scientific boards and expert group meetings.
Qualifications
- Scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, etc.)
- Strong medical and scientific acumen with rigorous research practices.
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate clinical insights into regional action plans.
- Effective communication skills to deliver complex scientific information.
- Professional level English proficiency.
