As a Senior Technical Product Manager on the AI Data Platform team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the roadmap for our AI Data Platform. This platform is designed to support both internal stakeholders and external AI products, driving their growth and scalability. You will operate at the nexus of machine learning systems, data engineering, and applied healthcare AI. Your collaboration with AI engineers, data scientists, and clinical leadership will be key to delivering production-grade agentic retrieval and context graph solutions. These solutions will empower LLM-powered tools to effectively access and utilize relevant data, ultimately enhancing value-based care workflows and improving the quality and cost of care for millions of patients.Primary Duties
- Partner with business owners to establish a clear, shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities, and desired end state, effectively communicating and advocating for this perspective.
- Lead the complete lifecycle of ML and LLM platform workstreams, encompassing data ingestion, model training, deployment, and ongoing optimization of live user workflows based on performance metrics and user feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams and end users to gain a deep understanding of requirements, conduct thorough solution design, utilize data to test hypotheses, and provide support throughout the execution phase.
- Author detailed user stories for new features, including comprehensive descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria defined by measurable outcomes.
- Develop both short-term and long-term roadmaps that maximize value delivery while minimizing risk, embracing an iterative approach.
- Partner with AI Researchers to transition proofs-of-concept into robust, production-ready capabilities.
- Engage in hands-on exploration of user feedback, healthcare records, and validation data to rigorously assess model performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience in the technology, technology-enabled services, or SaaS product industries.
- A strong foundational understanding of artificial intelligence and/or machine learning and related technologies.
- Demonstrated experience using data and primary research to guide solution design and build internal business acumen.
- Experience working with Agile teams, utilizing Jira, and a solid grasp of the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with APIs, DevOps, enterprise software development, cloud infrastructure (Databricks, AWS, GCP, Azure), and data engineering principles.
- Exceptional ability to articulate technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort in translating ambiguous product requirements into a well-defined technical roadmap.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
- Experience in building and scaling AI/ML platforms, tools, or internal services that enable other product teams, ideally in a leadership capacity.
- A proven history of successfully building and launching AI/ML platforms, tools, or internal services.
- In-depth knowledge of the AI/ML product lifecycle, MLOps, and scalable AI infrastructure (e.g., model training, deployment, monitoring, observability, reliability).
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies, including prompt engineering strategies and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).
- Background as a data scientist or backend engineer.
- Strong aptitude for translating technical concepts and platform capabilities into compelling value propositions, coupled with effective storytelling for diverse internal audiences.
- Clinical Data Literacy: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) data, claims data, or population health datasets.
- Experience within the healthcare technology sector, particularly with physician-facing products or clinical datasets.
