Trust and Estate Tax Manager

Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is seeking a Trusts and Estates Tax Manager to join our growing tax team. This role involves reviewing complex tax returns, providing advanced technical assistance, and conducting tax planning and research on intricate Trust, Estate, and Gift tax matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting with a Trust and Estate tax focus.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Licensed CPA or JD required.
  • Proven ability to build and retain client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed tax reviews of all Trust, Estate, and Gift tax returns and handle governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
  • Engage directly with clients for follow-up items or to initiate new client projects.
  • Delegate and manage Trust, Estate, and Gift tax research projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare tax returns for more complex Trust, Estate, and Gift tax cases.
  • Develop and mentor staff and senior accountants through training and performance feedback.
  • Manage engagement risk and financial performance, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
