On-Site IT Support Specialist
ALDI International IT Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled On-Site IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of IT support functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment and collaborating with international teams to deliver high-quality service.
My Responsibilities
- Application support, analyzing critical and complex issues.
- Asset management and facility management.
- Receipt of goods and local coordination of setting up the office environment.
- Cooperation with international teams on various IT initiatives.
- Extending the Knowledge Base content for efficient problem resolution.
- Participating in local and international IT projects.
- Engaging in continuous service improvement efforts.
- Workaround and problem management strategies.
- Providing essential on-site support to users.
The Knowledge I Own
- Proven IT Support experience, specifically in an on-site capacity.
- A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an IT field, is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required, with German language skills being advantageous.
- Basic networking knowledge, including LAN and WAN concepts.
- Familiarity with various software and IT hardware technologies.
- Basic experience or knowledge related to Windows/Linux Server environments.
- ITIL certifications are an advantage, demonstrating a grasp of best practices.
- Possess strong analytical thinking, reliability, flexibility, and a team spirit.
