About The Role
As a Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure at Alchemy, you will work with sophisticated, high-throughput distributed systems in the blockchain space. This role involves architecting, building, and improving backend systems that support millions of global users.
What You'll Do
- Maintain Alchemy’s batch pipelines powering production serving systems.
- Set up frameworks and debugging tools for team members.
- Monitor data quality, latency, and set up alerts.
- Build production DAG workflows for batch data processing and storage.
- Aggregate logs from multiple regions and clouds.
- Design and implement a next-generation data warehouse for diverse data sources.
What We're Looking For
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and have at least 4 years of industry experience in data engineering or data infrastructure. Knowledge of orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Jenkins, and Pachyderm is required.

Compensation
Base salary is estimated at $200,000 annually, plus equity and additional benefits such as 401k and unlimited flexible time off. Salary is determined by experience, skills, and business needs.
