The Role

At Alchemy, as one of our first Smart Contract Engineers, you will architect and build distributed protocols that augment our developer platform. Your role is to ensure high standards in readability, optimization, and security, backed by extensive testing. The smart contracts you develop will form the backbone for thousands of teams and millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect distributed protocols focusing on security and scalability.
• Write, deploy, test, and maintain smart contracts in production.
• Develop best practices for protocol upgrades and versioning across networks.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams on integrated applications.
• Mentor peers on Solidity/EVM best practices and latest trends.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in smart contract development.
• Extensive experience in Solidity, EVM, and production deployments.
• Proven capability in designing secure distributed protocols.
• Strong background in testing, deploying, and maintaining high-traffic smart contracts.
• Passion for blockchain technologies and a proactive, hustler mentality.
