Role Overview

The Provider Services Coordinator is responsible for processing health and dental provider online direct billing applications, validating provider eligibility with professional colleges and associations across Canada, and tracking provider agreements. This detailed role demands strong accuracy and efficiency to maintain excellent customer service.

What You Will Do

  • Process manual provider applications for Health, Dental, and AADL providers with precision.
  • Enter and manage health claims to ensure timely payments for providers and members.
  • Validate provider credentials with provincial and national colleges and associations.
  • Perform quality assurance checks and resolve complex inquiries when needed.
  • Collaborate with Alberta Health Services on direct bill ambulance claims and support billing queries.
  • Process Prior-Approvals for GNWT Vision, Travel, and Medical Supply claims.
  • Assist and educate providers on agreements, applications, compliance, and best practices.
  • Monitor individual production to ensure targets and timelines are met.
  • Suggest workflow improvements to drive efficiency and innovation.
