OVERVIEW:

Alberta Blue Cross® has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, results-driven Eligibility Services Administrator – Group Member Administration to join our team. With the support of the Team Manager, this position is responsible for the administration of new and existing employer group business. This involves accurate and efficient enrolment of members into benefit plans, maintaining up-to-date records for existing clients and the researching of accounts when resolving issues. An additional critical component of this role is corresponding with clients and initiating contact when required to effectively manage the business processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage enrolments in accordance with established procedures and Group Member Administration standards with a very high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Continuously provides superior customer experience to both internal and external clients.
  • Research and compile information from various sources to resolve inquiries and enrolment discrepancies, consulting with senior staff if assistance is required.
  • Contact Plan Administrators to obtain necessary information for enrolment processing.
  • Collaborate with and assumes responsibilities for other group administrator in their absence.
  • Research and reconcile Group Statement of Accounts when called upon.
  • Provide support to other departments including adding member data entry as needed with the goal of delivering exceptional client services.
  • Identify enhancements to existing processes to meet the changing needs of our clients.
  • Create a positive working environment within the team.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Proven experience working with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve member data objectives with high level of accuracy.
  • Able to multi-task under tight time frames and heavy workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment in a work from home format.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change and excel in high-stress situations.
  • Continuously provides superior customer experience to both internal and external clients.
  • Excellent relational skills coupled with strong skills in verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities as well as strong organization skills.
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is an asset.
  • Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry an asset.
  • Able to create a positive working environment within a team dynamic.
