Overview
Alberta Blue Cross® has an immediate temporary opening for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, results-driven Electronic Administration Coordinator to join our administration team. The Electronic Administration Coordinator works collaboratively with our Group clients as an expert resource around the initial and ongoing enrolment and member eligibility updates. The successful candidate will act as a main point of contact and assign in troubleshooting, electronically loading and administering eligibility records, data compares, ad-hoc reports and support to both internal and external clients.
What You Will Do
- Work with external clients to administer member benefit data and updates, while providing clear and concise direction and support.
- Continuously provides superior customer experience to both internal and external clients.
- Coordinates and facilitates the transition of new and existing groups to the electronic administration system(s).
- Interprets error reports and identify trends in order to support plan administrators.
- Oversees the validation of client and internal data integrity.
- Identify enhancements to existing processes to meet the changing needs of our clients.
- Represents Member Claims & Admin and/or Electronic Administration on special projects and committees.
- Provide customized documentation and training to external and internal clients on procedures and processes.
- Occasionally conducts introductory presentations and introduces processes to prospective and/or existing clients.
- Create a positive working environment within the team.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What You Will Have
- Business diploma or certificate would be considered an asset.
- Understanding of Alberta Blue Cross Group benefit plans, contracts, systems and processes or experience in insurance would be considered an asset.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to use the appropriate style, tone and structure appropriate to the audience.
- Analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to recognize problems, identify causes and suggest alternate solutions.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability and desire to work independently and communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.
- Strong decision-making ability, particular in situations involving risk and uncertainty.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience working with or viewing XML and Text would be considered an asset.
