Clinical Nurse III Antepartum - Weekend Night Shift

Work Shift: Weekend Night

Albany Med Health System is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse III to join our Maternal Special Care unit. You will contribute to creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening. Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures.
• Document treatments as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
